Our family has been honored to serve the Rutland area as attorneys and public servants since the 1920s. Beginning with Asa S. Bloomer, four generations of Bloomers have practiced law in Downtown Rutland, while also serving the Rutland community in the State Senate and/or on the Board of Aldermen. We are proud to have built a reputation in our community for honesty, integrity and sound judgment, as well as empathy for our clients and constituents.

While on the Board, Matt served as the Chair of the Finance Committee.
He was also Chair of the Marketing Committee - a committee he helped to create for purposes of highlighting the City's attractive qualities to those outside the region.
He currently serves as the Board's representative to various regional marketing committees.
The group organizes a monthly mixer and advocates for young professionals in the area.
In 2015, Matt spearheaded the creation of the Young Professionals Summit of Vermont, which has become an annual event hosted at the Paramount Theatre in Rutland.
