The Sweet Law Firm began as Jim Sweet's solo law practice in 1980 on North Main Street in Daphne, later moving to South Main Street in old downtown. In 1990, Jim formed Crabtree & Sweet with Jeff Crabtree and relocated to a new office on North Main. The firm returned to South Main Street in 1996, renovating the old post office building, where it remains today.

Parker Sweet joined the firm in 2007. With the departure and subsequent retirement of Mr. Crabtree in 2018, the firm took on its current name, the Sweet Law Firm, PC. No matter the name or location, the core function of our practice has always remained the same: helping people solve problems.
Services
We also have experience helping people who suddenly find themselves involved in a bankruptcy case, such as those needing to enforce alimony or child support orders when the other party is in bankruptcy.
We help clients with real property issues, including drafting deeds and other instruments, resolving title disputes (quiet title actions), boundary line and setback problems, and other issues that can arise in the rather complicated and often arcane area of property law.
We handle all manner of domestic relations cases in Baldwin County: divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, paternity, modifications of custody or support, and enforcement of court orders.
To help us best serve your inquiry, we recommend that you first describe the issue you're having before telling us what you want to achieve.
You may also email or call us to make an appointment.
Our general response time is one business day.
Please do not submit confidential or sensitive information through this web form.
The US Bankruptcy Court in Mobile has published a series of informational videos about the bankruptcy process which you can find here.
This service allows you to submit the information that we will need to evaluate your situation and (if appropriate) to prepare a bankruptcy petition and schedules for you.
MyCaseInfo is a convenient alternative to filling in paper forms and is offered at no additional charge.
If you have electronic copies of the documents we will need (tax returns, paycheck stubs) or have a scanner, you can use MyCaseInfo to submit those documents as well.
