Over 40 years experience appealing Property Tax Assessments before Cook County Assessor, Board of Review, and Property Tax Appeals Board, and Cook County Circuit and Illinois Appellate Courts. David Dillon has been a partner in the law firm of Dillon and Nash since 1979, specializing in the field of real property taxation. Prior to that, he served in the Cook County State's Attorney's office, handling civil trials and real property taxation issues representing the Cook County Assessor.
Mr. Dillon completed his education while employed in the railroad field beginning as a yard clerk and locomotive fireman with the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. He served as an assistant superintendent with the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, during which time he completed his Bachelor of Science in business and his MBA in Finance from DePaul University.
While serving as Director of Financial Planning for the Illinois Central Railroad, he completed his JD degree at Illinois Institute of Technology, Kent College of Law.
