While serving in this position, she was often called upon to help her employees find a work-life balance as they struggled with family issues.
She considered this to be one of the most rewarding parts of her job and made the decision to further this interest by attending law school at Florida A&M University College of Law in the evenings while continuing to work full time during the day and raising a family.
