Michael Luskin, Richard Stern and Nathan Eisler founded Luskin, Stern & Eisler LLP in 1989 with a commitment to providing financial institutions with a high quality alternative to large firm representation in restructurings, bankruptcy matters, creditors' rights litigation and financing transactions.
At its inception, the firm represented a few domestic and foreign banks, trade creditors and investors.
Over the years, the firm has extended its client base to include over 20 financial institutions as well as Fortune 500 companies, chapter 11 trustees, court appointed examiners, official and unofficial committees of creditors and the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico.
