Robert Friesen brings over twenty years of practical experience to his real estate practice.
He couples expertise and innovation to assist his clients in the realization of their plans in projects that range from retail shopping centers to commercial office space to warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Mr. Friesen is also recognized as an expert in the facilitation of tax-deferred exchanges of real and personal property pursuant to Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code.
His clients include large private and public corporations, and he has been involved in hundreds of 1031 exchanges of real and personal property, including complex reverse exchanges.
Palmer Sugg represents business entities and individuals in all aspects of litigation.
Believing strategy and tactics to be of equal importance, Mr. Sugg works with clients, and other members of the firm, to develop and implement litigation plans that fulfill the objectives of our clients.
Having tried cases before judges and juries throughout central and eastern North Carolina, Mr. Sugg brings to each case the insight and skill gained over twenty years of courtroom experience.
Mr. Sugg also understands the benefits of, and guides clients through, court-ordered as well as voluntary forms of alternative dispute resolution.
