The summer following her college graduation, Taryn began her legal career as a paralegal at a small matrimonial law firm.

While attending classes, John found the time to volunteer with Legal Services, which provides legal aid to Boston's underserved community.
When law school was not in session during the summer, John worked for the Boston University Civil Litigation Clinic, providing a range of services to its clients.
John was also one of the founders of the Boston University Chapter of Earthrights International, which is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that combines the power of law and the people in defense of human rights and the environment.
