Ms. Draikiwicz concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and trust and estate administration.
Her practice also focuses on the representation of individuals and entities in connection with business and real estate purchase and sale transactions.
She has extensive experience representing financial institutions in lending transactions.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Draikiwicz served as judicial clerk to The Honorable Robert E. Hamer, who was a Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, and then was an associate with the law firm of Kraft and Hughes, and its successor, McManimon & Scotland, from 1986 to 1991, where she specialized in public finance transactions and related tax issues.
Melissa Spurr's practice focuses on representing privately-held businesses and individuals with closely-held business interests.
As outside general counsel, she assists her clients with corporate structuring, planning, employment compliance, and contracts.
She also advises individuals and business owners as regards their business holdings, estate planning, and real estate.
Melissa is experienced in investment due diligence, as well as international business matters including foreign expansions and acquisitions, and cross-border service agreements.
