Beth was born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in the town of Great Bridge in Chesapeake, Virginia.
After high school, Beth attended and graduated from nursing school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she began her career as a cardiac nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital.
During that time, Beth had two daughters, Cori and Cameron.
Beth moved back to Virginia in 2003 to be closer to her family.
She continued her cardiac nursing career, first at Bon Secours DePaul Hospital in Norfolk and then at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach.
After high school, Beth attended and graduated from nursing school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she began her career as a cardiac nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital.
