Services
Walker Immigration is a U.S. immigration law firm that offers small firm, low-volume, immigration solutions.
Our objective is to maintain the highest work quality standards while providing our clients with cost-effective service.
Our practice is concentrated in employment and family-based immigration cases.
Our clients range from large corporations, hospitals and universities to entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals located nationwide.
We also help businesses and individuals living abroad secure Inbound Work Visas for foreign nationals to work in U.S. Our firm has vast experience in representing physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals as well as engineers, scientist and researchers, accountants, and others.
While devoting a large part of our practice to the representation of Foreign Medical Graduates, we also work with colleges and university faculty and researchers and high-skilled workers in the information technology industry.:
Our clients range from emerging companies, sole proprietors and local community businesses to medium, large, multi-national public and privately-owned corporations located in any state of the U.S and abroad.
We advise many mid-sized and growing, small companies that depend on highly specialized and unique talent which is frequently derived from foreign workers and intra-company transferees.
The immigrant visas are issued to foreign nationals who intend to live permanently in the U.S. The nonimmigrant visas are issued to people with permanent residence outside the U.S. but who wish to be in the U.S. on a temporary basis - for tourism, medical treatment, business, temporary work or study.
Most aliens wish to enter the United States on a temporary basis for a specific purpose: visit, study, work, tourism, to receive medical treatments.
These foreigners are required to obtain a nonimmigrant visa from a U.S. consular post.
The Department of Homeland Security and the Office of Visa Services in the Consular Affairs Bureau, Department of State, oversee the processing of immigrant (IV) and nonimmigrant (NIV) visas to the U.S., by consular officers.
U.S. Consular procedures and processing requirements vary greatly from post-to-post.
Also, advance travel planning and early visa application are important, since visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past.
Due to frequent changes in visa information and local requirements a thorough understanding of the post-specific process, requirements, and contacts is vital.
