I guarantee to give you the focus and attention you need and deserve in your time of need.
I started my career in Ohio.
After completing a degree in Social Work, and then law school, I spent nine years working in public-interest agencies where I represented persons who couldn't obtain an attorney on their own.
In 1992 I moved to Knoxville, and spent the next seven years as litigation director for what was then known as Knoxville Legal Aid Society.
Open adoptions are were you and the biological parents choose to exchange information whereas in closed adoption, you will have no contact with the biological parents and the parties' identities are unknown to each other.
Whether you are a private party or currently working with an agency, let Ted Kern and his team help guide you through the adoption process.
With the second highest divorce rate in the country in Tennessee, and the remarriage rate in the United States, Stepparent adoptions are very common.
Ted Kern understands that legal disputes with family are rarely easy to deal with on your own.
Families often encounter a wide variety of issues that require a Family Law Attorney.

During these types of cases it is important to hire a legal team / law firm that will both listen and help you find practical, common sense solutions to your problems.
There are four kinds of alimony in Tennessee: alimony in futuro; alimony in solido; rehabilitative alimony; transitional alimony.
Alimony in futuro is intended to provide long term support to a former spouse until that person's death or remarriage.
It is appropriate in situations where the recipient is economically disadvantaged by the divorce and, because of age, disability or other reason is unable to improve his or her economic situation.
Alimony in futuro is paid in regular installments and is subject to modification in the future.
