Roger Davidheiser grew up in rural Pennsylvania.
As a young man, he was always eager to hear people's stories of injustice and he was determined to help them solve their problems.

Roger earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Temple University in 1984.
He then moved on to New York University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1987.
