The decision to pursue, or defend your legal rights in a court of law is a serious decision. Before filing any lawsuit, or defending yourself if you have been sued, you want the best investigation, and the best legal advice you can get. You deserve lawyers you can trust, and who have the experience necessary to handle your case properly. You have a right to be fully informed, and have your questions answered throughout the representation.

Do you feel comfortable with the lawyer? Do you trust him/her? Do you feel like you can communicate with him/her, even about personal and confidential issues? Do you have confidence in his/her judgment? Has the lawyer "guaranteed" you an outcome? How much is the lawyer going to charge if he/she takes the case, and how long does he or she think it will take?

Always get a written fee contract and make sure you understand it before you sign. Don't hesitate to ask questions after you sign. While it is something that should not be done lightly, you can change lawyers if you think it is necessary.
Services
The firm of Crowley & Prill was founded in 1992 by Steve Crowley.
Steve tried complex motor vehicle crashes and products liability cases all over the United States while keeping his office in Burlington, Iowa and continuing to serve the community there.
Together, Steve and Ed have created a firm that is unparalleled in their advocacy of their clients and has developed a reputation for taking on difficult cases.
Regardless of whether they are pursuing a claim against a hospital or the largest auto manufacturers in the world, you can count on Steve and Ed to bring their relentless advocacy and 55+ years of combined legal experience to the table.
When the law imposes a duty to be careful, and someone breaches that duty, resulting in injury to a person, the person has a claim for personal injury under the law.
Crowley & Prill have been representing injured men, women and children in the courts of our nation for over thirty years.
Whether the injury occurs in a motor vehicle crash, or in some other situation, we will review the facts, and give you an initial opinion about the viability of your case, at no charge to you or your family.
The law protects you and your family from preventable injuries caused by another's carelessness, or their lack of attention in a potentially dangerous situation.
Motor Vehicle collisions whether they involve cars, trucks, or any other motorized vehicle, are a particularly prominent aspect of personal injury law.
So the same principles of duty to use care, attention, and reasonable judgment when operating any motorized vehicle.
If that reasonable care and judgment are not exercised by someone and a collision with injuries occurs, there is a personal injury claim available under the law to the injured or even deceased person who is affected by that conduct which the law refers to as negligence.
Whenever an employee gets injured or killed "arising out of, and in the course of his/her employment" virtually all states, including Iowa, require the employer or their insurance carrier to provide benefits to the injured worker and his/her family.
In Iowa, these benefits include reasonable and necessary medical care, prescription drugs, and even mileage to and from the treatment.
If the injury causes the employee to remain off work, the injured worker is entitled to weekly disability benefits until they are able to return to work, or until they reach maximum medical improvement.
Unfortunately, neither government regulation, nor the private marketplace can prevent all defective and unsafe products from entering the flow of commerce in our country.
Crowley & Prill have over thirty years of experience successfully representing people in cases where someone was injured or killed by a defective product.
Products liability refers to a special area of civil law that protects people from preventable personal injury and harm caused by products that fail and injure because a) the product is defectively designed for the purpose intended, or, b) the product is defective due to some problem in the manufacturing process.
