Christopher E. Zimmerman is a 1971 graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
He graduated from the Dickinson School of Law in 1974.
Upon graduation, he entered active duty with the United States Army serving as prosecutor, defense attorney, and legal assistance officer at Fort Wainwright near Fairbanks.
After a four-year stint in the Army, Chris entered private practice in Fairbanks in 1978.
He engaged in general practice doing both civil and criminal work.
He is a member of the Alaska and Pennsylvania (non-resident active) Bars and Tanana Valley bar Association.
