From its inception, the firm has provided experienced representation in civil litigation matters and commercial and business transactions.
Over the years, the firm's experience has deepened and its client base has grown.
Despite the firm's small size, its lawyers are often selected to represent clients in high-profile, high-stakes matters.
Mikel was born and raised in Whitefish, Montana.
For more than 35 years he has primarily represented insured and self-insured clients in civil defense trial work.
His primary clients include lawyers and law firms (in legal malpractice defense), other licensed professionals (in malpractice defense) business clients in litigation (including employment matters), ski areas and recreational providers (in personal injury defense) and the State of Montana (in civil defense).
He also conducts mediations.
Jay T. was born and raised in Kalispell, Montana.
He attended the University of Montana where he obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration, a master's degree in accounting and a law degree.
He passed the C.P.A. exam in 2004.
Jay T. worked as an intern during law school and joined the firm as an associate in 2007.
Jay T. and his wife, Sarah, enjoy living in northwest Montana and pursuing all of the outdoor activities that the area offers.
Chris was born in Rinteln, Germany.
Because his father was in the Air Force, he lived all over the world, eventually settling in Omaha, Nebraska.
He attended Creighton University in Omaha.
Upon graduation, Chris attended law school at the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Following graduation from law school, Chris served as a judicial clerk for the Fourth Judicial District of Iowa.
Chris moved to Kalispell, Montana and joined Moore, Cockrell, Goicoechea & Johnson, P.C. in 2013.
Chris and his wife, Ashley, enjoy experiencing everything Northwest Montana has to offer with their son Raymond.
Eric was raised in historic Sharpsburg, Maryland, on the site of the Civil War's Battle of Antietam.
He attended Haverford College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in History.
He then attended Cornell Law School, where he graduated cum laude.
After law school, Eric accepted a commission as an officer in the United States Air Force, serving as an attorney in the Judge Advocate General's Corps.
As a Judge Advocate, Eric performed a wide variety of legal services for our nation's military, and his primary role was as a litigator.
