After graduating from the University of Montana School of Law in 2004, Malin served as a law clerk to Sidney Thomas, Chief Judge of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Malin holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
In addition to her private law practice, Malin has been an adjunct lecturer at the University of Montana School of Law since 2012, where she has taught various courses, including Employment Law, Legal Writing, Trial Practice, and Civil Procedure.
