This was the one and only television commercial Slovinsky & Slovinsky made, circa 1989. It was in Spanish and was aired for a month on a Tijuana station, in exchange for attorney fees. Mr Slovinsky attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois where he earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism in 1977.
He also learned everything he wanted to know about growing corn.
Mr. Slovinsky attended Southern Illinois University School of Law at Carbondale, Illinois, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in 1981.
Set in the beautiful Shawnee National Forest and surrounded by many lakes, Mr. Slovinsky, while not studying law, became quite adept at bass fishing.
He worked for a couple of attorneys for about a year, before striking out on his own in the South Bay, practicing Immigration, Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Law.

His family immigrated to United States in 1957 and he was raised in Texas, New Jersey, and Illinois.
Mr. Slovinsky graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1981.
Mr. Slovinsky passed the bar and established the practice in Chula Vista, taking immigration, criminal, and personal injury cases, while Mary went to law school.
When Mary passed the bar in 1989, she joined her husband to form Slovinsky & Slovinsky.
Mary quickly found her niche practicing family law.
