I provide a wide range of transactional and litigation services for small and mid-size Long Island businesses. I help people avoid future difficulty and expense by doing things right in the first place, and have assisted numerous clients obtaining favorable resolutions to disputes. Real estate transactions should ideally be smooth and simple. I try to keep them that way.

I am also adept at resolving complicated title and other issues that might otherwise pose major difficulties in completing a transaction, and have extensive experience with real estate related litigation. Personal injury was my first niche practice area during and following law school, and it has remained an important part of my practice throughout my career.

It is an area of law that I know well from both the plaintiff and defense perspective, and I have handled cases ranging from basic car accidents and slip and falls to catastrophic injuries. I have the privilege of representing numerous local governments in matters involving civil rights, tort-based claims, and zoning and land use.
Services
I provide quality work, care, and attention.
Every client and every situation is unique.
I help my clients make sound business judgments, and ensure that they are appropriately informed and advised throughout the process.
I take a goal-oriented approach, and have experience necessary to reach those goals efficiently.
If you would like to speak with me to discuss your business matter, please feel free to contact me.

Legally enforceable duties arise when the relationship between the parties is such that, in the absence of enforcing a standard of care, the risk of harm will unfairly burden the foreseeably injured party.
What standard applies in any circumstance is a sliding scale: on one end, ultrahazardous and similar activities prompt strict liability where the actor is obligated to prevent and effectively insure against loss; on the other, actors are performing public functions with broad discretion and qualified immunity.
