Personal injury is physical or emotional damage caused by another's acts and may entitle the you to monetary damages. You'll feel the difference the first time you walk into our office. We are a small firm, but a powerhouse. With more than 60 years of combined experience, we are well-known and respected in the legal community - not only regionally, but nationally.
What's just as important, however, is our reputation among our clients. And we've built that by giving every man or woman who comes to us the kind of attention, respect and support they need and deserve. The attorneys of Badey, Sloan & DiGenova have decades of experience helping thousands of clients get what they need - and deserve - to get their lives back on track.
We need to use the legal system our Founding Fathers created for us, in our Constitution, for the benefit of working people against the powerful to make sure the playing field is leveled. I never forget that people's lives are in the balance. Coming from a working-class background, I know losing the ability to work - and not having money come in - is one of life's most difficult challenges.

We lost Bob Sloan, beloved founding partner, to cancer in 2010.
He was a great lawyer, a great man, and a great friend.
He lives on in the spirit of our firm, as an inspiration as well as a guiding "voice" - we often ask each other "What would Bob do?" when faced with a dilemma.
We know the answer will always fall out on the side of helping the injured and those in need; genuinely caring about people; and always behaving with honesty, courage and integrity on behalf of what's right.
Thank you, Bob - we miss you and will carry on with your values in what we do every day.

We never lose sight of the fact that each of our clients has an individual, often tragic, situation requiring personalized attention.
Our goal is to obtain for our clients the only justice that our system can provide, an award of damages that compensates them for the injuries they have suffered.
If we, in our professional judgment, do not believe that a case is supported by the truth and by compelling circumstances, requiring our assistance to right a wrong, we will not accept the case.
The attorneys and the support staff of Badey, Sloan & DiGenova have decades of legal experience, including the courtroom proficiency and savvy that can only be obtained from trying cases in the courtroom.

Workers' Compensation is a form of insurance for employees who've been injured - or become ill - on the job.
The program varies from state to state, but all offer an important safety net for workers.
Pennsylvania's laws provide benefits to workers injured on the job or having an occupational disease; or to surviving dependents of workers killed on the job or as a result of the job.
The benefits are provided regardless of who was at fault in causing the injury, disease or death, and regardless of the previous physical condition of the employee.
