The firm was established by David B. Vail in response to the plight of the injured and disabled. Since 1977, the firm has remained dedicated to being a voice for those unable to advocate for themselves. Our practice specializes in Workers' Compensation claims, Social Security Disability claims, and Personal Injury cases. The Law Office of David B. Vail and Associates has developed a reputation for taking on the hard cases that other law firms turn away.

David built his firm on the philosophy that he and his employees pursue for each client the benefits and compensation they are entitled to. The Firm's philosophy is based upon the desire that each of our clients survive financially and emotionally. Each employee is dedicated to exhausting all avenues when advocating for our clients. David's ability to see beyond the obvious has helped establish his reputation for thinking outside of the box.

In 2005, Jennifer Cross-Euteneier became a partner and the firm became Vail, Cross-Euteneier & Associates.

Washington State's workers' compensation system was founded in 1911 with the sole purpose of delivering "sure and certain relief to injured workers by reducing to a minimum their suffering and economic loss."
The system was designed to provide no-fault industrial insurance coverage for most employers and workers in Washington State either through the State Fund or self-insurance for companies with at least $25 million in assets.
Washington State's workers' compensation law is codified in the Revised Code of Washington (R.C.W.) Title 51.

Being unable to work due to an injury or illness can be an incredibly overwhelming situation.
Our Personal Injury Practice was born as a result of our representation of the injured and disabled.
In the state of Washington you cannot sue your employer or co-worker for injuries sustained at work.
If you were injured by someone who is not a coworker or a defective product or machine you may have a third party case.
If you were injured by a Third party while on the job it is important that your attorney for your third party case and your Workers' Compensation case be the same.
While they are two separate claims, they directly affect each other and your representative needs to be aware of pitfalls and problems that may arise.
