The law firm formerly known as Davis Steadman Ford & Percy, LLC announces that Susan Ford, of Woodstock, Vermont, is retiring after more than three decades of practice. Susan's area of professional activity focused on real estate work in Woodstock and the surrounding towns in the Upper Valley.

During her many years of practice, Susan served on many professional and community boards and committees, including the District 3 Environmental Commission, the Woodstock Ski Runners Educational Program, and the Woodstock History Center, to name but a few.Susan's many clients were well served by her effective professional relationships with other attorneys, realtors, and officers at local mortgage lending institutions.

We wish her well in her future retirement activities. The firm will now be known as Davis Steadman Percy & Sluka, LLC, in recognition of the membership of Boolie Sluka and Justin Sluka. Boolie's primary area of practice is in family law and Justin represents injured clients in the area of Workers' Compensation.
Services
Todd's practice focuses on all aspects of family law including divorce, parentage, domestic partnerships, establishment or modification of parental rights and responsibilities, parent child contact, and child support.
He also handles civil litigation, municipal law, estate planning, probate and landlord/tenant matters.
Todd was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 1996.
With over twenty years of experience in family law, Todd understands the difficult and trying times these matters present to all involved, including the children of the parties.
Ben focuses his practice predominantly in real estate, both residential and commercial.
Ben's real estate practice includes purchases and sales, closings, subdivisions, resolution of property issues, examination of titles, easements, boundary line agreements and other real estate related matters.
Ben enjoys guiding his clients smoothly through their transactions while looking out for their best interests.
In addition to real estate, Ben also offers services for business organization and formation.
Boolie offers counsel to parties in all matters of family law including mediation, parent coordination, divorce, parentage, establishment of parental rights and responsibilities, parent child contact and child support.
Her approach assists clients in navigating the difficult evolution of divorce and separation with an aim to minimize conflict where possible.
She has particular expertise in assisting families with interstate and international child support disputes, and as a prior member of the Eastern Regional Interstate Child Support Association, she has presented on a number of child support and family law related topics to a national audience.
Justin is a workers' compensation lawyer.
He represents injured workers and Vermont employers through all levels of the workers' compensation process.
He is also an approved workers' compensation mediator available to help both parties reach fair and reasonable solutions in difficult cases.
Injured and disabled workers can trust Justin's extensive knowledge to help confidently navigate the workers' compensation system during trying times.
Likewise, Vermont employers frequently call upon him to bring claims to resolution or advise on any number of workers' compensation matters.
Denise began working with Davis Steadman Percy & Sluka in 2007.
She works in both the White River Junction and Woodstock offices primarily assisting with real estate transactions.
Denise also provides administrative support to both offices.
We deeply miss Sally (2004 to 2018), who graced our office with her cheerful presence and tail wagging for many years.
We do not miss her thievery of many lunches from desks or her propensity to empty the trash on her own.
A Miniature Australian Shepard, Lyla, a native of Oregon, moved to Vermont in 2013 as an 8-week old puppy.
