I have been an attorney in Marion, Indiana since 1980. What distinguishes my law office from others is the unique nature of inheritance cases in which I represent people from around the world. Many of my clients receive unexpected inheritances from a long lost or distant relative. Most clients enjoy learning more about their family history and all clients enjoy the financial benefits.
I am a graduate of Indiana University Law School and also admitted to practice law before the Federal District Courts since 1992. I am a member of the Indiana Bar Association, a former Deputy Prosecutor, former City Attorney for Marion, and a member of the Indiana City Judges Association. I have worked in conjunction with the firm of Martin Investigation, Inc. (Rodney Martin, Darrell Martin, and Lew Herring) to handle estates, document inheritance and property rights cases.
The estate process starts when a person has died. All states and countries have laws in place for the handling of the deceased person's assets.

When Grover H. was a child, he immigrated to the United States in 1910.
He and his brothere Grable, had a cousin named Evert who also lived in the States, but the brothers did not know him and had never met him.
Evert died without a will and his estate was divided between nine first and second cousins in Sweden and two first cousins in the United States who could not be located.
Those two cousins were Grover and Grable.
We took on the case and after pouring over immigration, census, marriage, birth and death records, we were successful in locating the brothers.

I really do not know how to thank you for having worked such long hours and days and months to find me.
You could easily have given up and not had the perseverance to discover where I was.
I am most grateful.
Thank you so much for all your determination and tenacity.
The faith I had in you was from the very beginning.
Thank you again and if you are ever in the Des Moines area we would love to hear from you.
I received your certified letter on Saturday and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of the enclosed check and the swiftness in which this matter was dispatched, I want to also commend both you and Mr. Rodney Martin for your diligence in the pursuit and recovery of this previously unknown inheritance.

ANSWER: Generally I cannot reveal details about the estate until all heirs have hired me to represent the estate.
Over the years, I have found that this helps protect my office's investment in paying for research and the investigative cost of locating the heirs.
If I provide all the details upfront, some people will utilize the information to try to circumvent the reasonable fee for my services.
After I become your attorney, all information you provide to me is kept confidential.
Information is not provided to any other source without your permission.
