Our residential real estate attorney team is experienced in guiding our clients - especially first-time buyers - through the purchase and sale process, offering clients the expertise required to see the transaction through to a successful closing. We represent purchasers and sellers in all New York metro counties including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx as well as Westchester and Long Island.

Our real estate lawyers provide timely and professional negotiations, accurate documentation to expedite transactions, and meticulous attention to detail. We conduct careful, extensive due diligence for every transaction and review board minutes, building information, and we contact management companies in search of possible assessments, potential litigation, noise, water, infestation, or other such issues.

For new construction projects, we carefully review the offering plan materials and provide a detailed written summary memorandum. Based in Midtown Manhattan, the team at Weidenbaum & Harari is committed to demystifying the legal process and providing compassionate, calm, clear counsel.
Services
You could say that our law firm had its origins back in the 1970s, when partners Barry Weidenbaum and Jack Harari, two of the youngest kids in class, teamed up to win a 2-on-2 soccer tournament at their grammar school in New York.
It was here that they first learned the importance of teamwork and started a relationship built on honesty and trust that continued throughout high school and college.
About 25 years later, they teamed up again to form Weidenbaum & Harari, a Manhattan-based law firm, focused on serving the legal needs of the real estate and construction industries.
The bulk of our practice is assisting buyers and sellers of condos, co-ops, townhouses, and single-family dwellings in the five boroughs of New York City and surrounding counties.
Our residential real estate team is experienced in guiding our clients - especially first-time buyers - through the legal process, offering them the expertise required to see the deal through to a successful conclusion.
In all transactions, we use the collective legal experience gained over decades to provide contract language that further protects our clients.
The team at Weidenbaum & Harari is well-versed in assisting with smooth bank closings by resolving and avoiding the particular challenges borrowers and lenders may encounter in New York loan and mortgage closings.
We can handle all aspects of a lending transaction, from the initial greeting of the borrower, through the clearance process, to closing.
Many other ancillary loan closing documents necessary to perfect a lender's security interest.
In anticipation of the implementation of the CFPB's TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure ("TRID") requirements, Weidenbaum & Harari has also completed extensive training to make sure that we remain in compliance and continue to provide exemplary service every step of the way.
Barry, Brett and the whole team at Weidenbaum & Harari were amazing to work with - professional, efficient and most of all caring.
I bought an HDFC coop in NYC which has all kinds of different protocols and procedures for purchase and they were knowledgeable and patient throughout the entire process.
When I found a leak in the apartment that was causing water damage on my final walk through (!) they were on top of it through the weekend to ensure that everything was taken care of in order for me to close on that Monday.
