Services
Paul has practiced law for over 30 years.
He earned a Juris Doctor degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, NH; a Master's degree in Philosophy from Goddard College, Plainfield, Vermont; a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire; and attended Saint Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD.
Prior to beginning a solo practice in Dover, NH, Paul was a secondary school teacher for seven years and Principal of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, Dover, NH for three years.
After completion of your initial office visit, the attorney prepares an engagement agreement which includes the following: (1) a summary of recommendations; (2) specification of work to be performed; and (3) a flat fee for legal services with a retainer amount that is applied to the flat fee.
The written agreement is mailed or emailed to you for review and approval.
When you are completely satisfied with the draft documents, an appointment is made for signature.
At the signature meeting, final questions are answered and re-titling matters are discussed.
We concentrate in comprehensive estate planning which encompasses, but is not limited to: Wills; Pour-Over Wills; Trusts (revocable and irrevocable); Powers of Attorney for Management of Finances, Personal Affairs, and Digital Assets; Powers of Attorney for Health Matters including Advance Directives (Living Wills); as well as preparation of other documents needed to re-title assets for probate avoidance and asset preservation.
Additionally, we may recommend the creation of corporations and limited liability companies to shield individuals from personal liability against irresponsible creditors and predators.
