The law firm of Fischer & Fischer was founded by then Probate Judge Herbert D. Fischer and his brother, then Municipal Court Judge Charles H. Fischer, Jr. Charlie and Herb attended Duke University for undergraduate and law school. The family firm has been providing legal services from our present location at 568 Washington Avenue, West Haven, Connecticut, since 1959.
Services
Attorney Fischer was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1980 and has been a member of the firm since then.
He is a member of the City of West Haven, New Haven County and Connecticut Bar Associations.
Jim has volunteered for numerous charitable organizations, with an emphasis on those that provide services to the elderly and disabled populations by provision of community based services as an alternative to institutionalization.
Jeffrey was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in June of 2018.
He received academic achievement awards in Elder Law, Trust and Estates, Property Law, Law Practice Management, and received the CATIC Foundation award.
