Arguing criminal appeals in Kentucky, as in any jurisdiction, is an uphill battle.
That is why it is so important to be well-represented and successful at trial.
However, that does not always occur.
Regardless of who represented you at trial, it is always a good idea to have a second opinion and review of your case if you are facing the necessity of appeal.
Judges, prosecutors, legislators and trial defense counsel can commit errors that are of such magnitude that they affect your rights and the fairness of the trial proceedings.
Family law is one of the most emotionally fraught legal arenas.
The outcome of a family law matter can affect parental rights and responsibilities and have far-reaching financial consequences.
For 70 years, the lawyers at White, McCann & Stewart, PLLC, have assisted families in finding solutions to resolve their divorce, child custody and grandparents' rights cases.
Whether these cases are resolved by agreement between the parties, with the assistance of a mediator or through a contested final hearing before a family or circuit court, they are often very emotionally charged and difficult cases for all parties involved.
