Clair Law is currently one of the longest established legal practices in Walworth County.
We have offices in Lake Geneva and Delavan and have been serving the surrounding area for over 50 years.
Shortly after World War II, Mr. John H. Kenney (1908-1974) established a law office in Delavan, Wisconsin.
In 1961, J. Edward Clair began practicing law in Chicago, Illinois.
Eleven years later, J. Edward Clair joined with Mr. Kenney and the partnership of Kenney & Clair was formed, here in Walworth County.
Charles (Chad) W. Pollard IV is the President and Sole Shareholder of Clair, Thompson & Pollard S.C. Attorney Pollard's unique focus on civil litigation, including lake rights, and real estate, land use and planning, provides property owners and developers the confidence to move forward with lawsuits and development projects knowing that Pollard has been on both sides of the coin.
Attorney Pollard received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Calvin College in 2009 and a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2013, graduating with a Litigation Certificate.

John H. Kenney established his law office in Delavan, Wisconsin shortly after World War II.
That law office would ultimately be known as Clair Law.
Attorney Kenney concentrated his practice in the areas of real estate; estate planning; and probate.
Attorney Kenney had a juris doctor degree from Marquette University.
After serving as a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, he retired and formed the partnership of Kenney Korff and Pfeil here in Walworth County, Wisconsin.
Attorney Kenney was elected president of the Walworth County Bar Association in 1948.
