Lagrange Bankruptcy
Harmon and Gorove has decades of experience in helping good people overcome tough circumstances. Whether it is through filing for relief under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, assisting with an Uncontested Divorce, helping our veterans with VA Disability Appeals or handling your estate planning, we always act with our clients best interest, first. Our firm has an unprecedented range of experience in Bankruptcy, VA Disability and Uncontested Divorce.

We put that experience to work representing clients in diverse and dynamic ways. We cultivate relationships in the legal community and work as a team to ensure you achieve the best outcome. Agent Orange was used widely in the Vietnam War to help eliminate vegetation and make it easier to find and track the enemy. Generally, after having an accident while carrying no auto insurance, the other party will obtain a monetary judgment against you, and can suspend your driver's license until you pay it.

The Chapter 13 Trustee is an attorney who is responsible for making sure your repayment plan complies with bankruptcy laws and is also the person who collects money from you and disburses it to creditors.
Services
Our firm specializes in both Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection as well as Uncontested Divorce and VA Disability Claims.
We have successfully helped thousands of people find the solution to their problems.
Our main office has been located in Newnan, Georgia since 1983, and our satellite office is located in LaGrange, Georgia.
We understand that coming to our office is often a "last resort", and therefore we make every effort to provide you with a relaxed, comfortable office environment, a simple yes/no questionnaire, and an immediate one on one consultation with an Attorney to discuss your individual situation.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy gives you a fresh start.
It eliminates most or all of your debt.
Certain debts cannot be eliminated such as child support, alimony, student loans and most taxes.
Whether or not you can keep the property you wish to keep depends on many factors, and a comprehensive consultation with you is necessary in order to determine this issue.
To get started, please call 706-845-8732 and schedule a free initial consultation.
If you wish to have expedited service when you arrive, please fill out the client intake sheet before you arrive.
VA Disability will provide veterans who are suffering from debilitating injuries and other disabilities with a lifelong benefit, paid monthly.
Along with injuries that occurred during combat, you can also receive disability payments for injuries suffered during off duty activities, even leisure activities such as snow skiing and other sports.
You can also receive compensation for cancers developed later in life and a number of other ailments that could have been caused by your service.
Many veterans are not receiving disability benefits at all or they are receiving less benefits than they should.
We offer an Estate Package at flat fee of $1,000.
An Estate Package consists of a living will (also known as a medical directive), a power of attorney and a simple will for you and a spouse.
For more information on Wills, Living Wills, and Power of Attorney, please call us at 706-221-7810.
A Last Will and Testament is a document that allows you to give property at the time of your death to the person you want to have it.
A Will also typically names someone to carry out your wishes (an Executor) and also names a Guardian if you have minor children.
Lots of people ask us what the difference is between a normal divorce and an uncontested divorce.
The long and short of it is, an uncontested divorce is civil, cost effective and quick.
Uncontested divorce is highly cost effective; often saving at least $3,000 and up to $12,000 compared to a regular divorce.
As opposed to contested divorces, uncontested divorces can be completed in as little as 31 days from the filing of the divorce petition.
Both parties must agree on all the major issues outlined above and know about the intended proceeding.
