Throughout college, she worked as a pharmacy technician and later opened and operated a Spanish restaurant for four years.
In 1996, she opened her own law practice representing indigent children and adults in dependency, delinquency, criminal, contempt, and civil commitment cases.
She also worked on family law cases and taught business ethics at Portland State University.
Jenefer Grant became a Columbia County Circuit Court Judge in 2007 and completed her term as judge at the end of 2020.
