Founded in 1978, our predecessor firm was known for its litigation credentials. Over forty years ago, Joseph Wusinich, a Vietnam War Veteran, started a law firm at 19 South High Street in West Chester based upon the values that typified Chester County and our great country.
Mr. Wusinich believed in the rule of law, equity, justice and individual rights.
From its humble beginnings in 1978, the predecessor firms of Wunich & Brogan and then Wusinich, Brogan & Stanzione were built upon the legal traditions and values fostered by the "country lawyers" who practiced in Chester County.
Mr. Sweeney is the owner and Partner of Wusinich, Sweeney & Ryan, LLC.
Mr. Sweeney continues the forty-year tradition of Wusinich & Brogan for serving clients in Chester County and beyond.
Mr. Wusinich serves "Of Counsel" to the firm and consults on specific client matters and legal issues.
Mr. Wusinich was the founder and firm principal of the firm since its inception in 1978.
Ms. Ryan is a seasoned litigator and advisor with decades of experience in state and federal courts.
Her practice focuses on employment law and civil litigation, including class actions, discrimination matters, non-compete and trade secret litigation and other contract and commercial disputes.
Ms. Ryan, a former partner in a major international law firm, has represented clients in class actions and mass tort matters in state and federal courts.
She has achieved favorable results for clients in cases alleging race harassment and discrimination, violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act, sex harassment and discrimination, age discrimination, disability discrimination and other areas of employment law.
