Richard Luptak has been serving the residents of Cleveland County since 1988, in both Kings Mountain and Shelby; Mr. Luptak now maintains a solo practice through his Shelby office, located on South DeKalb Street, just a short distance away from the Cleveland County Courthouse. Mr. Luptak and his team treat clients as individuals and understand that legal issues can be very stressful for the client and the family as well.

Practicing law since 1988, Richard J. Luptak received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Thiel College in 1982 and was subsequently awarded his Juris Doctorate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1988.
In addition to being licensed to practice in North Carolina, he holds bar appointments in both the District of Columbia and Western District of the United States District Court.
As an esteemed member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Mr. Luptak has been practicing in the State of North Carolina since 1988.
