Brian Fowler graduated with Honors from Seton Hall University in 1984, and from the College of William and Mary's Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 1987.
Brian began his career as an attorney in private practice with several prominent law firms in northern New Jersey, including one of New Jersey's largest firms.
In 2002, Brian opened his own law practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
From 2007 through 2010, Brian also was affiliated with a small international firm, and handled many of its litigation matters.
Brian Fowler represents clients in a wide variety of Employment related matters.
Brian has represented employers and employees in wrongful termination disputes, including alleged race, age, gender, handicap and national origin discrimination cases.
Brian has also represented both employers and employees in disputes related to the terms and conditions of employment, incuding breach of contract claims, breach of conditions established by handbooks, policies or practices, and hour, benefits, wage and salary disputes.
Throughout his career, Brian Fowler has assisted in the formation of dozens of new companies and has counselled numerous corporate clients on a wide range of day-to-day legal business matters.
These clients have ranged in size from sole proprietorships and small corporations with few employees to large companies with offices and hundreds of employees throughout the United States.
Brian has negotiated contract terms and conditions directly with clients' customers, which have included General Electric, Anheuser-Busch, Siemens, R.J. Reynolds, Fairway Supermarkets and others.
Brian Fowler represents individual and corporate clients before Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Adjustment throughout Northern New Jersey.
Matters Brian has handled before such Boards have included applications for variances and approvals to allow construction of additions to residential homes, construction of commercial and medical buildings, and construction of manufacturing and warehouse facilites.
Experienced representation is extremely important in Land Use and Zoning matters.
New Jersey's Municipal Land Use Law and local Zoning Ordinances can be complicated, and the applicant is required to meet certain legal burdens in order to obtain relief and/or approvals.
