Linette Aguirre-Gonzalez was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.
She graduated from Socorro High School and continued her studies at the University of Notre Dame.
While a student there, Ms. Aguirre-Gonzalez was on the Dean's List, participated in international service programs, and spent much of her time volunteering and serving the local community.
In 2010, she graduated as a double major in Philosophy and Theology.
Ms. Aguirre-Gonzalez was then accepted into the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE), moved to South Los Angeles to teach third grade at a lower income elementary school, and began working towards her Master's in Education.
