Deidre Jewel is a Southeast Missouri native, having been born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Deidre graduated from Cape Central High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1992 with a Major in Political Science and Economics.
Deidre received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1995.
Since becoming an attorney, Deidre has practiced law in Jefferson City, St. Louis, Charleston and Cape Girardeau.
Deidre's legal career began in the Missouri Public Defender System where she defended indigent clients in the criminal system.
