Prior to becoming a criminal defense attorney, John graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an infantry officer in the United States Army.
He is a graduate of the Army's Ranger School and a trained paratrooper.
John also graduated from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.
While there, John's criminal law and procedure professor chose him to serve as a research and writing assistant.
