The San Diego Elder Law Center was founded in 1997 by San Diego attorney Philip P. Lindsley to better serve the legal needs of San Diego County's elders, as well as those with disabilities and special needs, and to provide needed assistance to their families and caregivers.
Mr. Lindsley has more than 40 years of experience in disability and Medi-Cal planning, conservatorships, trust & estate planning, special needs trusts and probate.

Adam Juel is an associate attorney with San Diego Elder Law Center.
He graduated from Arizona State University magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and later attended the University of San Diego School of Law.
Adam is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Elder Law and Estate Planning, Trusts & Probate sections of the San Diego County Bar Association.
Prior to coming to the San Diego Elder Law Center, Adam discovered his aptitude for client advocacy while volunteering with young adults in foster care and persons with special needs.
Liz Lockwood has been with the San Diego Elder Law Center since 2004, starting as an outside contractor handling the court required accountings.
Over time, her eclectic skill set and eye for detail proved to be an indispensable asset to the office.
In 2008 she joined San Diego Elder Law Center full time, and serves as our Public Benefits Paralegal and Office Manager.
Liz grew up in Sonoma, California and brings with her a career spanning many years in several industries, including teaching, real estate appraisal, and accounting/account analyst positions.
