Mr. Buchmaier was admitted for the general practice of law (Second State Exam) in Germany in 1994, to the Louisiana Bar in 1996, to the South Carolina Bar in 1997 and for the private practice of law in Germany (Landgericht Munich I and II) in 1997.
His native language is German and he is fluent in English.
He also worked as in-house counsel for a software-related technical customer support company in Munich and for many years with a major law firm in South Carolina.
He is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association; the German-American Lawyers Association; the Louisiana and South Carolina Bar Associations; International Committee of the South Carolina Bar; and the Bar Association for Munich Circuit of Appeals District.
