Arbitration is a method of alternative dispute resolution that allows both parties to have their say and to discuss their differences in a non-courtroom setting under the supervision of a neutral third party, or "arbitrator."
After hearing all of the information and receiving the opinions of both sides, the arbitrator then is able to rule on the issue.
Whether or not the arbitrator's decision is binding depends on the terms contained and agreed to by both parties in the original arbitration agreement.

I became a lawyer because the skills developed in law training have many applications and I wanted to have flexibility in developing my career.
I also believed that understanding and being able to work with our legal system would allow me to accomplish whatever objectives I might set.
Before law school I was fascinated with international studies, political science, and foreign cultures.
I focused also in my undergraduate studies on regional organizations and international, intergovernmental organizations.
