In addition, our attorneys and staff regularly volunteer their time to benefit numerous civic and charitable organizations.
As evidence of the Firm's commitment to civic and community involvement, the attorneys and staff of The Thrasher Law Firm contribute their time, resources and talents to numerous charitable organizations, including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Florida Bar Foundation, the Tallahassee Bar Association Pro Bono Assistance Program, the American Cancer Society, the Leon County Public Schools Mentoring Project and the Leon County Public Schools Partners for Excellence Program.
Elwin Thrasher, Jr. graduated from the University of Florida law school in 1967.
He was admitted to the Florida Bar later that year.
After admission to the Bar he served as Assistant Staff Judge Advocate at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Following his assignment at the Air Force Academy he served as the Staff Judge Advocate at Zaragoza Air Base, Spain.
In 1973 he left the Air Force and moved his family from Spain to Tallahassee, Florida, where he began the private practice of law.
Thereafter, he served as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate at Amarillo Air Force Base, Texas, and at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
While there, he also taught at the Academy's Preparatory School.
Following his assignment at the Air Force Academy, Mr. Thrasher served as the Staff Judge Advocate at the United States Air Force Base located in Zaragoza, Spain.
In 1973, he was honorably discharged from the Air Force and moved his family from Spain to Tallahassee, Florida, where he began the private practice of law.
Elwin "Trey" R. Thrasher, III was born in Gainesville, Florida, while both his parents were attending the University of Florida.
His father was a Staff Judge Advocate for the United States Air Force and as a child he and his family lived in Amarillo, Texas, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Zaragoza, Spain.
After his father was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, the family moved to Tallahassee, Florida.
Trey graduated from the University of Florida with honors in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Our lawyers provide experienced counsel and representation in lawsuits seeking money damages, foreclosure actions and loan modifications and workouts, deeds given in lieu of foreclosure, replevin actions, garnishment actions, actions to levy on real and personal property to collect judgments, litigation relating to fraudulent transfers of assets by Debtors to avoid payment, enforcement and foreclosure of construction liens and homeowner association assessment liens.
