Board Says Task Order Did not Require the VA to Order Review of 10,000 Radiological Examination Results Per Year. The VA issued a task order to Rocjoi Medical Imaging, LLC("contractor") to study radiological examination results. Thecontractor argued the VA failed to request approximately 10,000 studies a yearas provided in the task order. The VA said the task order did not guarantee10,000 studies but was merely a vehicle to obtaining funding for services up tothis estimated amount.
The VA's position is odd since task orders are not used to obtain funding but rather to order services. We are a reputable law firm with a complete focus on federal government contracts. Government contract lawyers at the firm have a keen understanding of federal procurement rules. Government contract attorneys are able to assist in all aspects of military and civilian federal contracts.
We represent companies in the U.S. and abroad who do business with the federal government. The government contracts marketplace has become increasingly competitive.
