Denis G. Kelly graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1992. He has practiced as an attorney in New York since 1992 as a trial lawyer primarily in the fields of medical malpractice and personal injury. In 1999 he was elected to the Long Beach City Council after serving as a Commissioner of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Long Beach. Subsequently, he served as a Commissioner on the Long Beach Civil Service Commission.
After practicing law in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Garden City from 1992 through 2005, Denis opened his own practice in Long Beach, New York in 2006, continuing to represent clients in personal injury and medical malpractice suits throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, as well as the City of New York. He has also developed a busy practice in the areas of zoning and land use.
