We look forward to meeting you. Senior Solutions has been very helpful to our family in navigating the maze of decisions surrounding eldercare finances and Medicaid planning and in creating a 'what if' roadmap. Attorney David McNair is not only highly experienced and competent, but also takes the time to respond to follow-up questions (in layman terms!).

Senior Solutions was exceptional. Being confronted with a crisis situation with my elderly uncle being placed in a nursing facility, Attorney Kathy McNair guided us through the complex process. Kathy was there for us to answer any and all questions.
Services
I was fortunate to find my passion working with seniors and their families to help them plan for their future, provide for their loved ones, and handle crisis situations.
My clients impress me with their resilience and strength when faced with difficult situations.
Attorney McNair has been practicing Elder Law for over twenty years.
She is a graduate of Boston College Law School and earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from St. Lawrence University.
After graduating from law school, she served as an attorney for the Greater Boston ARC, in the Guardianship program.
Senior Solutions came highly recommended to us by my dad's estate lawyer.
Attorney David McNair has been very helpful in navigating our family's complex eldercare legal needs and creating a financial "what if" Medicaid estate planning roadmap.
I was particulary impressed by his excellent---clear, timely and actionable responses to a host of follow up elder planning questions that we had.
David McNair has been a managing partner at Senior Solutions for over fourteen years.
He represents individuals, hospitals and nursing homes in Guardianship and Conservatorship cases.
Amy Kisby Mullen represents clients in the areas of Guardianship, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, and Probate.
She is on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Guardian Association (MGA) and has experience moderating a panel at MGA's Annual Conference.
Outside the office she enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and her dog.
Nursing home care and long term care costs in Massachusetts are often over $150,000 per year.
Medicare and private health insurance will only pay for nursing home care for a short time and not more than 100 days.
Many people don't think that they will ever need nursing home care, but sometimes their needs cannot be met at home.
Advanced Medicaid planning offers the greatest opportunity to protect your assets.
However, Medicaid Planning can still help to protect your assets from the high cost of nursing home care, even when nursing home care is already needed or imminent, especially for married couples.
A will is a legal document that provides instructions to be carried out after your death.
In a will, you need to decide who should receive your assets when you die.
You also nominate a Personal Representative, who serves as the manager of your estate.
He/she will pay your debts and distribute your assets according to your wishes.
If you have minor children, you will nominate a guardian, to be responsible for your children in case you die before they turn 18.
A Health Care Proxy allows you to designate someone to make medical decisions for you in the event that you can no longer make decisions for yourself.
