I primarily practice criminal law but have experience in other areas of the law, including personal injury and family law. I am a former prosecutor in the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office. My recent case load include: aggravated burglaries, DWIs (felony and misdemeanor), thefts (felony and misdemeanor), drug charges, and Federal cases. I am also a Major in the Texas Army National Guard.

I have answered my country's call three times by serving in Iraq (2011), Egypt (2015), and Afghanistan (2017). My last tour was as the Rule of Law advisor to the Afghan National Police and Attorney General's Office in the southeastern (Kandahar) region of Afghanistan (Kandahar, Uruzgan, Zabul, and Daykundi).
