Mr. McIlwain is a trial lawyer and graduate of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers College. For more than 25 years, he has focused his practice on impact litigation in the areas of civil rights, consumer and employees' rights, and sports. In these areas of law, Tim is for the people, aka the little guy.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. McIlwain has made many television and radio appearances, most notably FOX Channel "Legal Panelist"; "On the Record" with Greta Van Sustern; TSN "Off the Record" with Michael Landsberg; WFAN Radio - Toronto, Canada; WIIP 610 Radio - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; WOND AM "Sports Gumbas".

Mr. McIlwain has traveled the lecture circuit, extensively delivering great insight into litigation and sports law at Loyola law school in Los Angeles, CA; DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL; and Golden Gate School of Law in San Francisco, CA.He is currently a professor teaching sports law at Temple University's Fox School of Business.

Additionally, Mr. McIlwain also shared a panel with Donald Fehr (president of Major League Baseball Players Association for 30 years and top labor attorney) on the Tennessee, Florida & Georgia Bars where he has repeatedly been invited as the annual public speaker.
