He is a veteran of the US Navy and served in Vietnam.
After leaving the service he worked his way through college in Security and as a machinist.
He also worked as a computer programmer/analyst in the communications, airline and financial industries.
After attending law school in the evenings while working days he graduated from Seton Hall Law School and opened a private practice.
