She grew up in Gaston County, North Carolina, graduating as Salutatorian from South Point High School in 1989.
She subsequently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1993.
Following her college graduation, Ann Brittian attended Wake Forest University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor degree in 1996.
In 2003, Ann Brittian became a partner of the firm.
She primarily handles real estate related matters, including but not limited to, residential and commercial real estate transactions and closings, buying and selling real property, as well as foreclosure and collection matters.
