Campbell Family Law helps clients divorce differently because they deserve better choices in the outcome. We only work in the out-of-court processes of mediation, collaborative divorce, and collaborative mediation to provide clients with the flexibility they need and want without the spectacle or tragedy that a litigated divorce often is. Campbell Family Law prepares and empower clients to live their new liberated life to the fullest.

Collaborative Divorce is a legal process enabling couples who have decided to separate or end their marriage to work with their lawyers and other professionals to avoid the uncertain outcome of court decisions and to achieve a settlement that best meets the specific needs of both parties and their children. Mediation is a dynamic, structured, interactive process where a neutral third party assists disputing parties in resolving conflict through the use of specialized communication and negotiation techniques.

As a mediator Ms. Campbell also prepares the documents the court requires to finalize a dissolution to insure each couples' agreements are enforceable should that prove necessary.

San Francisco Bay Attorney Kathy Campbell has many years of experience successfully assisting clients in family law.
She understands the value inherent in the team and cooperative approaches.
Having seen the damage a difficult divorce can bring, she chooses to mediate and participate in the collaborative divorce process more frequently than the traditional methods.
Any Santa Clara County couples seeking a more amicable, cooperative, and less combative approach should call to see whether a consent dispute resolution process or a traditional process is right for you.
Because there are so many different issues that can come up during a divorce there are four different processes available to get you through a divorce.

California Divorce attorney Kathy Campbell focuses her practice on Mediation, Collaborative Mediation and Collaborative Divorce.
Every family is different, which means that every divorce is going to be different.
When couples are divorcing the best resolutions help ensure that each individual continues to have what they need to move on and grow post-divorce.
At the outset I provide clients with a workbook containing basic legal information about California divorce law.
After couples review it, on their own or together, we meet again to plan how and through which process I can best help you.
Draft documents confirming the agreements you reached.
Work through the court so you can get divorced without either spouse ever entering a courtroom;.
Mediate contested divorce issues.
I educate both spouses on your divorce topics like the legal requirements and possible creative solutions.
The collaborative divorce means that the divorce professionals commit to stay out of court.
The professional team, configured by and for each family individual, all agree in writing to a disqualification clause that prevents the professionals from continuing in any court-related process for the couple.
Each professional trains in collaborative divorce, mediation, and working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Collaborative teams shepherd couples through the common (and some not-so-common) challenges arising in divorce.
Collaborative Mediation is a hybrid of two other out-of-court processes: Collaborative Divorce and Mediation.
It can be a good middle ground for those struggling to decide between a Collaborative Divorce or a Mediated Divorce.
In Collaborative Mediation families work with a smaller team, the members of which, commit to step down from the case if the family cannot finalize the divorce in Collaborative Mediation.
It brings the disqualification clause of Collaborative Divorce into Mediation.
To proceed with their dissolution in a litigation forum, each spouse would need to hire a new professional (team) and start again.
