Since opening the doors of the Law Offices of Steven H. Rubin in 1991, I have committed my practice to helping families in Montgomery and Chester counties navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives. I represent clients in a wide range of family law issues, as well as in estate planning and bankruptcy matters. In each of these areas of law, I provide conscientious counsel and supportive legal services, always with an eye to achieving the client's objectives efficiently.
Compassionate counseling - After discussing my clients' unique situations, I help them to understand their options for alimony, child support and custody arrangements and create a thorough strategy for achieving their objectives. Aggressive litigation - Many times there are alternatives to going to court, and I readily pursue all non-litigation options that are consistent with my clients' priorities.
But if a negotiated solution proves impossible or disadvantageous, I am ready and able to litigate zealously.

Services
I have been in practice since 1991 and have spent most of my time representing clients in family law cases (divorce, custody, support, protection from abuse) and preparing estate planning documents (wills, trusts, living wills and powers of attorney).
I work closely with all of my clients and always keep my clients informed about all aspects of their cases.
I was on the Board of Directors for the Women's Center of Montgomery County, which improved my ability to understand and be sensitive to the emotional aspects involved in many contentious family law cases.

Trusted firm advises clients in the West Chester area on wills, trusts and conservatorships.
Wills - Your last will and testament provides the opportunity to distribute property, establish care for children and otherwise express your final wishes.
A will is also the primary means by which you can leave property to a person or entity other than a blood relative.
Trusts - Trusts are flexible instruments that allow you to put conditions on gifts and provide an allowance for a beneficiary rather than a lump sum.
