That attorney will work hand-in-hand with you to meet your legal needs and move you toward your business and personal goals. Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are home for our attorneys and many of our clients. Although we serve companies nationally and internationally, we think locally and share with our clients a passion for our community that drives us to dream bigger and do better.

We are honored to be a part of Meritas(R), an international consortium of nearly 200 law firms and 5,000 attorneys in more than 50 countries. Membership in this group is selective and by invitation only, and member firms must adhere to rigorous quality requirements and service standards. Katz Teller attorneys, once again, earn top honors in Woodward and White's The Best Lawyers in America(C) 2022 publication.

Margaret Kubicki joins Katz Teller as a new shareholder, practicing in the estate planning, probate and trust and taxation practice areas, and brings with her additional experience in the corporate realm.
Services
As clients, you motivate our decisions from the conceptual to the practical, from our service model to how we welcome you off the elevator when you visit us.
We strive to deliver everything you would choose if you could design a law firm.
You are why we have designed the firm to be profitable without profiting at your expense.
We handle matters with the right person, at the right experience level, and do not use your legal issues to train our younger attorneys or evaluate their performance or development.
As anyone who has ever argued with a spouse or small child knows, there is a difference between hearing and listening, between being able to repeat what was said and actually taking it in and thinking about it.
With Jody Brant, there is never any question that he is both hearing and listening.
In a world of loud talkers, it is Jody's ability to listen, to thoughtfully consider the input of others before speaking, that sets him apart as a lawyer and as a leader.
For Jody's estate and wealth planning practice, the ability to do more than hear and reflect a client's words in a legal document, but instead listen to and interpret their hopes and goals, allows him to develop strategies that might otherwise have been overlooked.
He may be entering a timesheet while he dissects a tax problem and actively participates in a meeting.
Just when you think there is no possible way he could be listening and doing so much simultaneously, out will pop a sentence that gets right to the heart of the matter.
Those who have not been initiated will often sit back in stunned silence, even awe.
But this is an everyday thing for Bob, as his clients have come to know and appreciate.
Bob's practice is most concentrated in the areas of estate and wealth planning, tax planning, and employment benefits.
Chris's practice focuses on advising clients in a wide-range of tax, executive compensation, and retirement plan design and compliance matters.
A substantial part of Chris's practice involves advising privately-held corporate and pass-through entities and their owners with respect to complicated tax matters arising throughout the business lifecycle, including preparation for and execution of significant corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, and joint-ventures.
Tedd Friedman is a life-long businessman who started his first venture at age 9 (selling manufacturing remnants of Formica-covered countertops).
So it is no surprise that as Tedd began his legal career, he immersed himself in the investment philosophies of Warren Buffett and Benjamin Graham.
In fact, those lessons inform Tedd's practice of law as much as anything he learned in law school.
His clients have come to expect that, in addition to legal advice, Tedd's counsel will embrace ways to maximize value while maintaining an adequate margin of safety.
