Services
If you have ever been arrested for drunk driving you were probably given some sort of chemical test to determine your blood alcohol content.
The most common chemical tests include a breath test or blood test.
Many jurisdictions have statutes that allow prosecutors to give presumptive effect to chemical test readings of blood-alcohol content.
In other words, if a person's blood alcohol content is at a certain level, the court will presume automatically that the person was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Timing is a crucial element in a criminal defense case.
The police and prosecution begin building a case against you from the moment you are named as a suspect or arrested for involvement in a crime.
The sooner you contact an experienced Tennessee criminal defense lawyer, the better your chances may be for a positive outcome.
As your attorney, I evaluate the evidence in your case and interview any witnesses involved.
I make sure the police followed proper procedure during your arrest and questioning and that your rights were not violated.
People sometimes find themselves unhappy with the court's decision regarding their legal issue.
When that happens, individuals can seek recourse through the appellate courts.
The appellate courts are designed to protect each individual's right to due process.
If you or a loved one believes that the verdict in your case is unjust or if new information has come to light since your conviction, you may be able to appeal the court's decision.
At the Stengel Law Firm in Memphis, I have extensive experience handling criminal appeals in state and federal court.

At the Stengel Law Firm in Memphis, I represent individuals whose assets have been seized by the government.
Seized assets can include money or property, and may involve the Tennessee Highway Patrol or the local or federal law enforcement.

You have 30 days from the date you received the notice to file a property claim with the Department of Safety office in the county where your assets were seized.
